[A poem by Mr. Samudrala Harikrishna titled ‘Where have I gone?’.]
[dropcap]W[/dropcap]here have I gone at all?!
I am right in front, Here-Forever in Its Thrall!
Like a lump of lazy clay
Like a slumbering spark not knowing the day!
***
Just now navigating my way
Among the clustered Stars above, with a sway!
A minute ago in the Moon’s Arc,
Rollicking in the Crescent, singing ala the Lark!
Here in the variegated Bow
Playing a celestial hide and seek, face aglow!
A swoop onto the Knight’s saddle
All Majesty on his Stallion, in the rapier’s dazzle!
One moment playing with Pearls
The bounty by the rumbling Cloudy Benigns!
Once, like never before, Shining
In the splashes of the Lightnings, ever soaring!
***
Here atop the Sea’s hoody Waves
There joining River danseuse’s cute Weaves!
Here In a jolly talk with the Blooming
There in a sombre farewell to the fraily, Falling!
***
All, roamings of my Restless Mind inside!
The Wanderlust, an Untameable oceany Tide!
I am just a lump of lazy clay
Like a slumbering spark not knowing the day!
Where have I gone at all?!
I am right in front, Here-Forever in its Thrall!
